Verification Status shows what is happening with a third party right now. It updates in real time.
Each third party has one Verification Status at a time. This is separate from Compliance Status, which shows whether requirements are met.
Verification Statuses
Pending Entity Submission
The system is waiting for the third party to submit documents.
Processing
Documents were submitted and are being reviewed against requirements.
Actions
Review is needed. This usually means document details, names, or entities do not match requirements.
Audit
The latest submission is being reviewed. Audits confirm that document data was read correctly. A final status shows once the audit is complete.
No Entity Response
The third party did not respond to requests or reminders. No automatic requests are sent. You can send a manual request if needed.
Paused
The third party will not receive emails while paused. Reviews continue in the background. Once unpaused, the last status resumes. Licenses continue to renew.
Exhausted
The third party submitted documents twice and did not meet requirements. No automatic requests are sent. You can send a manual request if needed.
Third-Party Outreach (Managed Services only)
The third party did not respond. An Evident team member is working with them directly.
Producer Outreach (Managed Services only)
The third party failed two attempts to comply. Their agent or broker is helping resolve the issue.
Blank (No Status)
No action is needed at this time.
Deactivated
The third party was permanently removed. They are kept for history only. They do not appear in dashboards or reports and will not auto-renew.
Statuses That Need Attention
Exhausted and No Entity Response require follow-up. These third parties did not meet requirements or did not respond.
You should contact them directly to remind them of their obligations and request updated documents if they plan to comply.
If a third party receives any new notice, such as an expiring document or updated requirement, items marked Exhausted or No Entity Response are included automatically. This gives them another chance to comply.
Verification Status and Compliance Status are shown separately so each can be filtered and searched easily.
